Focus Blue

This is a simple photo challenge website. Challenges are run at a relaxed pace - one every two weeks - and aim to be fun rather than taxing. Challenges are open to anyone who wants to enter. You don't have to be a photo pro or own a massive 1752 Megapixel superzoom, it's all about taking pictures and having fun. It's not about the size of your camera!

Challenges run for two weeks and have a designated theme. All you need to do is take a photo that fits that theme (however loosley) while the challenge is open and submit it. If you decide you don't like your photo you can upload another one to replace it later so long as you do it before the challenge closes.

After the two weeks are up voting begins! For the next week you look at all of the entries for the challenge and pick your 3 favourite choices, and award a position to each. You can change your mind about the votes at any time during the week.

Once voting is finished the winners are announced for everyone to see. The winner does not, sadly, win a prize, but they do win the honour of choosing the next challenge!

There are only three rules :

• You need to take the photo yourself
• The photo has to relate in some way to the chosen theme
• The photo has to have been taken in the two week period the challenge was open

You can use photo editing software to clean up and crop your photos, but you should not substantially alter the photo - the competiton is for photos, not for editing prowess.
